It’s finally happening!!!
Bringing beauty into everyday life:
“Clay Wall Art Panels and Tobe Ware Exhibition”
In the past, the walls of Japanese homes were made of clay walls. However, in modern times, building homes with clay walls has become more challenging due to costs and construction time.
By decorating the home with clay wall art panels, a stylish, healthy, and relaxing living space that connects you to nature can be created.
With this in mind, we have decided to hold this exhibition.
We also invite you to admire Tobe ware alongside the clay wall art panels.
Exhibition Dates:
November 8th (Fri) ~ 11th (Mon)
10:30 AM - 5:00 PM (Until 3:00 PM on the last day)
Gallery Talk:
November 9th (Sat), 10th (Sun) from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM
The artists will be present until 3:00 PM on both days.
*Please contact us in advance regarding parking.
The Benefits of Clay Walls
clay walls have natural benefits such as humidity control, odor removal, and heat retention, creating a comfortable living environment.
These walls have been used in traditional homes and storage houses for a long time, as they help regulate humidity.
Their deodorizing effect is also excellent. In fact, we conducted an experiment to prove it. We placed a single-flower clay vase in a Ziploc bag, sprayed it four times with ammonia water purchased from a pharmacy, and sealed it. After 15 minutes, the ammonia smell was gone.
Additionally, clay walls absorb and suppress the release of organic compounds like formaldehyde, provide soundproofing, and are fire-resistant, making them a sustainable material for modern living.
